TD is committed to innovation of drug discovery and development with independent intellectual property rights. To achieve this, TD has invested for many years in building technology platforms related to drug research and development, to improve its own R & D technology. At present, TD can complete independently all the R & D tasks including target selection, drug screening, molecular design and synthesis, the main part of the pharmaceutical research and in vitro pharmacokinetics. At the same time, with outstanding technical resources from the shareholders (SIBS and SIOC), TD can also carry out more in-depth study of the mechanism, efficacy study of zoology, as well as the optimization of production processes, such as research and enlarge for specific drug candidates. On this basis, TD can complete the whole process from the discovery of active molecules to pre-clinical study independently and carry out the clinical trials of new drugs together with Contract Research Organizations.
In the selection, normally TD chooses the targets, which have relatively clearer research mechanism, with a potential for clinical treatments. Through early screening, we are looking for New Chemical Entities or ¡°Me-too¡± compounds with good profiles. Since then, the selected lead compounds would be used for structural optimization and transformation, to improve their efficacy and ADME characteristic and merits would be carried on follow-up research and development. |
